NHS Nurses Strike
The NHS is on life support and our nurses are on the front lines demanding what they deserve: fair pay and respect. While the government turned a blind eye, we painted the truth in broad daylight - a bold mural in Bristol showing Rishi Sunak clapping as nurses queued at a food bank. With a limited budget and a ticking clock, we teamed up with Upfest and artist Sled One to make a bold statement.
Turning outrage into art
We partnered with local artist Sled One to create a mural that pulled no punches - a visual gut-punch that exposed the irony of politicians applauding while nurses struggle to make ends meet.
In one week, we sketched the concept, secured a location and watched the mural take shape just in time for the national strikes, ensuring the message hit when it mattered most.
Turning heads nationwide
The mural sparked national headlines with coverage in The Guardian, ITV News and The Sunday Times. The mural’s message resonated across the country, turning local street art into a national symbol of solidarity.
Print To Power: fundraising with purpose
We launched Print To Power, a pop-up online print store where nationally renowned artists were commissioned to design posters to raise money for the RCN Strike Fund. 100% of profits went directly to supporting nurses on the picket lines.
