Ongoing Support

As energy bills soar and the climate crisis deepens, the case for clean, community-owned power has never been stronger - but community energy co-ops have to fight for attention against slick corporate campaigns and shrinking public funding. Bristol Energy Coop, one of the UK's longest-running and most successful community energy organisations, wanted to grow its membership, scale up its solar portfolio, and raise the finance to fund its next generation of projects. Our challenge was to sharpen how BEC looks and sounds, turn its share offers into can't-miss moments, and build an everyday social presence that keeps a grassroots movement growing.

There are 4 social posts, advertising Bristol Energy Cooperative. They show slogans like "become a member of our cooperative' and 'invest in your community'. They are in bright jewel tones - pink, blue, green and yellow.

Refreshing and developing the brand

We updated and evolved BEC's visual identity and brand language, giving a maturing organisation a confident, consistent look that carries across everything from share-offer prospectuses to social media feeds. The challenge was to create a brand that's professional enough to reassure investors, warm enough to feel genuinely community-owned. Job done.

Digital promotion for share offers

We designed and ran the digital promotion behind BEC's community share offers, translating a £1m fundraising target into a clear, compelling ask. Through landing pages, targeted digital advertising, email journeys and campaign assets, we made it simple for local people to understand the opportunity and invest.

Ongoing social media management

We took on day-to-day social media management across Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, building a steady drumbeat of storytelling that spotlights real projects, members and community benefit that kept BEC visible between campaigns, not just during them.

We have worked with INN for a number of years now, and it’s been a joy. They are highly motivated, flexible and responsive. Along with their excellent digital media skills they are very attuned to the specific community energy sector.
